Land Rover / Range Rover TDV6 and TDV8

It is quite common to get seized Glow Plugs on these vehicles.  The common solution is to remove the body from the chassis and remove the cylinder heads for repair.

We have tooling and expertise that allow access for removal in situ, saving you potentially thousands of pounds in  labour!

Glow Plugs can be very difficult to remove without breaking if they are seized.  This can be due to a number of reasons  including carbon build up from over fuelling, faulty plugs being left for too long and corrosion. This is a very common problem on Landrover and Mercedes but we can solve now matter how stuck they are.

The days of Glow Plugs only being required for cold starts are long gone. Today they are not only used for this purpose but emissions control (EGR / DPF) functions as well.

If you have issues with broken or seized Glow Plugs get in touch with us as we have the equipment to remove safely.  The results of leaving them non-functional or broken off in the head can be very costly.
